Psychiatry is the study of the human mind and the disorders that affect it. One of the most controversial disorders is schizoaffective disorder. It is argued to be an offset of schizophrenia with mood symptoms. People with schizoaffective disorder may experience hallucination, become delusional, and have severe mood swings that incorporate depression and manic episodes. These types of distortions in perception affect all of a sufferer’s senses. It affects their hearing, their sight, their taste, smell, and even touch.
